And of course, the panoramic view over Lake Annecy from the bar is, without exaggeration, absolutely breathtaking. It’s the ideal spot to unwind, gaze out at the twinkling lights reflecting on the water, and enjoy intimate conversations. We began our evening with a pre-dinner drink, soaking in the serene ambiance, and later returned after dinner for a comforting hot chocolate, a perfect end to a perfect day.

While the hotel’s rooms are wonderfully dog-friendly, a detail we greatly appreciated, the restaurant does not permit pets. For this reason, we opted to dine outside the hotel on this particular trip, as we preferred to have our furry companions with us throughout our entire stay. However, for guests without pets, or those who can arrange alternative care for their animals, I wholeheartedly recommend booking a meal in this exceptional restaurant. It offers a unique opportunity to savor the finest local ingredients prepared with culinary artistry, all while enjoying one of the most magnificent dining views in France.

Beyond the delights within, the hotel’s grounds themselves offer a magical experience, especially in the evening. Despite our visit being in January, when the Alpine air was crisp and cold, we relished a romantic walk along the illuminated pathways of the hotel’s garden. Bundled up warmly, we admired the beautifully lit facade of the hotel, casting a warm glow against the dark sky. The tranquil presence of the lake at night, even in winter, added an undeniable charm to our stroll. The overall ambiance of the hotel, all lit up against the backdrop of the night, was truly enchanting.

Close to the hotel, the charming gazebo offers an iconic viewpoint. Isn’t the view from this gazebo, overlooking the tranquil lake and the distant mountains, truly romantic and picturesque, especially under the soft glow of the evening?
